The European Nursery Championship would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors and partners. These organisations share our commitment to the working Border Collie and to the promotion of sheepdog trialling as both a competitive discipline and a vital part of rural heritage. We are deeply grateful for their continued involvement.
Llanfarian Farm & Country has been the ENC's principal sponsor since 2015, providing essential financial support that covers the costs of venue hire, sheep, and infrastructure. Their dedication to agricultural excellence and rural communities aligns perfectly with the values of the championship. Royal Canin, the international pet nutrition brand, has supported the event since 2017 with high-quality dog food products for competitors and generous prize packages for the finalists.
KSN Border Collie (Kynologischer Sonder Nachzucht) is the German breed society for working Border Collies and has been a long-standing partner, sponsoring the best young dog award and providing logistical support for European continental events. All of Herden, the Dutch sheepherding association, has contributed both financially and practically, including the provision of sheep for the 2020 event. Additional support has come from national kennel clubs, agricultural societies, and local businesses in each host country.
We welcome new sponsors and partners who share our passion for working sheepdogs and competitive trialling. Sponsorship opportunities range from financial contributions to in-kind support such as equipment, catering, veterinary services, or media coverage. All sponsors receive prominent recognition in event materials, on the championship website, and during the prize-giving ceremony. For larger partnerships, bespoke packages can be arranged to suit your organisation's goals and budget.
If your company or organisation is interested in supporting the ENC, please contact the committee via the Contact page. We are happy to discuss opportunities and provide detailed information about the championship's reach and audience.
Behind every successful ENC is a dedicated team of volunteers who give their time freely. From setting up the course and managing the sheep to running the registration desk and preparing meals, volunteers are the lifeblood of the event. Many are former competitors or family members of handlers, and their knowledge of sheepdog trialling ensures that the championship runs smoothly. We are always looking for additional volunteers — whether you can commit to the full event or just a few hours, your help is enormously appreciated. Please get in touch through the Contact page to find out how you can be involved.
